ABOUT US

Andrew Bates established the business during the summer of 2019. Andrew is a Chartered Town Planner with circa 16 years town planning experience. Approximately 11 of those years was spent working in Local Government in Development Management. As a Senior Officer much of this time was spent working on major and complex applications including Strategic Sites. Over the past 5 years Andrew has been working in the private sector, predominantly for a respected South Wales based consultancy which engages in projects all over the UK.

Andrew has a wealth of experience of contributing to and project managing the planning application process on projects including:

• Strategic Mixed Use Development;

• Renewable Energy Projects;

• Listed Building Projects (including Grade I Listed properties and Registered Historic Parks and Gardens) and associated Enabling Development;

• Conversion of Former Agricultural Buildings and Agricultural Notifications; 

• Commercial Development;

• Industrial Development;

• Sporting Facilities including a wealth of experience with synthetic playing surface projects and associated leisure facilities;

• Student Accommodation schemes (upto 600+ beds);

• The production of Environmental Statements; 

• Planning Appeals upto Public Inquiry level.
